High School Volunteer Course
Dive into the exciting world of volunteering at the Two Oceans Aquarium! Join us on the High School Volunteer Course as we explore the rocky shore ecosystems of the Cape Peninsula and learn the skills needed to showcase marine life at the Aquarium.
During this course, students will participate in hands-on explorations of live invertebrates and seaweeds through an introduction to our remarkable rock pools, followed by a field trip to a nearby rocky shore ecosystem on one of the days. Not only will students learn about tides, but also how different organisms respond to the abiotic challenges of this environment.
If you’re an avid rockpool explorer or someone interested in learning more about this environment, this one’s for you.
Note: Completion of the High School Volunteer Course opens the pathway for high school learners to volunteer at the Two Oceans Aquarium!
