In addition to unlimited Aquarium entries, Members also receive a discount on a whole range of other offerings:

- 10% discount at the Aquarium gift shop

Members-only events
Members get exclusive invitations to special events organised just for them – from family sleepovers to one-of-a-kind speakers nights and dinners.
Plus: Members will always receive discounts on public events hosted by the Aquarium, and may also receive ad hoc invitations to third-party events taking place at the Aquarium.
Seawater for home aquariums
As an exclusive benefit for active Aquarium members, the Two Oceans Aquarium provides access to water from Table Bay harbour solely for use in home ornamental aquariums. We may suspend or terminate this benefit at short notice and we do not test this water for any heavy metals, pollutants or chemicals before supplying it to members.
The seawater collected is for your own private use and may not be sold, traded or provided to any third party. You use this water at your own risk and discretion. You indemnify the Two Oceans Aquarium from any loss you might suffer as a result of making use of this benefit.

Upgrade your day ticket
Have you already visited the Aquarium, and realised you’d like to visit more often? Simply bring your ticket stub to our Visitor Centre after your day visit and upgrade your ticket to full membership by paying the price difference.
Gift memberships
If you’d like to purchase a membership as a gift for someone else, you can do so online by clicking the “gift” option before checkout, or by visiting our Visitor Centre in person at the Aquarium.
Renewing your membership or adding family members
Existing members that renew their memberships within 90 days of their expiry date, can do so at a discounted rate. Visit our Visitor Centre in person or email members@aquarium.co.za to renew yours.
Memberships are sold on an individual basis – if you would like to bundle multiple members together to make it easier to manage this service for your family or group, please contact us at members@aquarium.co.za.
